When knowledge and love come together, miracles are born. Tomurcukbağ is the story of a lifetime dedicated to viticulture by Prof. Dr. Y. Sabit Ağaoğlu, a dream of establishing a vineyard with passion, and the rebirth of the Kalecik Karası grape.

Our Terroir

Not just good, but the best…

Tomurcukbağ is located in the homeland of the Kalecik Karası grape, on the very soil where this unique Anatolian variety grows best—its true terroir. The fertile, mineral-rich lands of the Kızılırmak Valley allow Kalecik Karası to express its distinctive aroma and high-quality wine character to the fullest. It is in this special land, within our ten-decare vineyard, that the vines we lovingly nurture have taken root.
